Character Name: Sirius Black
House: Gryffindor
Appearance: Sirius isn't the tidiest looking boy much to the dismay of his mother. His hair is a light shade of brown and even though it's not down to his shoulders, it is longer than others. His eyes are a mixture of blue and green but they appear to be blue. He isn't skinny but isn't weak. The clothes he wears aren't the wizarding cloaks his mother forces him to wear. Instead, he wears casual t-shirts and some have muggle bands on. He only wears muggle clothes when he's at Hogwarts and when he's at home, he hides them from his parents.

Personality: At first, Sirius comes across as arrogant and immature but when and if when someone becomes friends with him, it's like he is a different person. He's loyal and kind to his friends and fellow Gryffindors. Alon with his arrogance, Sirius is known to have a nasty temper. He takes it out on anyone he dislikes. A clever and bright wizard, Sirius is very mischievous and loves pranking people.

Sample RP (as the chosen character): The boy ran along the platform pushing his trolley. His owl Fang was in his cage fast asleep along with trunk and other essentials. Butterflies fluttered around in the pit of his stomach he reached the wall. From what others could see was a rather weird boy who looked rather messy looking at the wall with an excited smile. This boy was not normal though. This boy was a wizard. Sirius Black to be precise and the excited smile on his face has a reason to be there. Why, this wall was the entrance to the train that he would be taking as transport to get to his new school. As Sirius thought about what he would like at his new school, his mother's shrieking voice pieced through his eardrum.

"Sirius Black! Stop gawping and straighten your cloak. We want you looking your best."

With a sigh, Sirius did as his mother asked without hesitation. As much as he disliked his mother, he was brought up to respect his elders. Shuffling his cloak onto his shoulders more and smiled toward his mother.

"Is this any better? C'mon, we got to catch the train!"

He said excitedly and readied himself and his trolley before taking one look at his mother. She smirked a little before giving Sirius a little nod. His face beamed up like a lightbulb and he started to walk toward the wall. He started off as a walk but his nerves overwhelmed him and he started to jog.

It looked like he was about run into the wall but instead of hitting it, he passed straight through. When he had gone through the wall, Sirius had closed his eyes but now that he was through, he opened his eyes and gasped at the sight before him. A scarlet red train was pulled up alongside the platform; steam billowing from it's chimney. Students were crowding the platform with their parents. Sirius caught a few seconds of various conversations from students whether they were saying goodbye or their parents reminding them about certain things in the school year or things for them to remember to take.

Sirius moved to the side slightly to let his mother and father through before squeezing past the crowds of students and parents before finding a door that would lead him onto the train. Before Sirius even stepped onto the train, his mother pulled him in for a tight hug. His face was pressed against his mother's shoulder before she pulled him away; planting a kiss onto his cheek.

"Mother, I have to have some sort of reputation. Please don't try to ruin it."

Other students his age and older chuckled slightly at his mother cuddling him but he didn't look at them. Instead, Sirius looked into his mother's eyes and watched a tear fall down her cheek. Before he could say anything, his mother wiped it away quickly and composed herself.

"Okay Sirius. Just... Have a good time at Hogwarts."

His father helped Sirius put his trunk and owl in his own compartment and heading out onto the platform. He was about to encourage Sirius on the train but he gave his son a pat on the shoulder.

"Well, my Sirius how you've grown. It seems like yesterday you were a little tyke flying on your toy broomstick."

Sirius didn't know what to say. Instead, he looked at his mother and father for the last time before he would see them next year.

"I love you."

These were the last words he said before he went back to his compartment and relaxed; waving goodbye to his parents. He slumped in his seat and let out a sigh of relief. Finally, he could be himself. He ruffled his hair and adjusted his cloak. He closed his eyes for a moment and the butterflies returned again and he opened his eyes immediately. To his surprise, he saw a girl standing in the doorway.

"Can I help you?" He asked and with that, the girl ran off. Sirius wondered when and where he would see that girl again. He didn't even know her name but instead of wondering any more, Sirius shrugged. He would probably see her at Hogwarts.
